Eurotech apart from AWS CAWI/CWI/SCWI certification also provide CWEng. The AWS Certified Welding Engineer (CWEng.) is a four part examination. Part 1 and 2 must be successfully completed in order to take Part 3 and 4.
The initial two parts of the exam are closed book and cover basic science fundamentals and applied science fundamentals.
Part- 1 and 2 are each two hour written multiple-choice exams (total time of four hours).
Part 1 is a 35 questions multiple choice exam and Part 2 is a 25 questions multiple choice exam. They are given together and must be passed together. If the candidate fails in one part, only that part must be repeated.
Parts 3 and 4 of the exam are open book examinations on welding related disciplines and practical welding and related applications. They are each three hours in length. (Total time of six hours)
Part 3 is a 45 questions essay exam. Part 4 is a 39 questions multiple choice exam. Candidates who successfully pass Parts 1 and 2 will be invited to sit for these exams and a separate application must be submitted to AWS.
The exams may be taken at any location where the CWI examinations are given. Candidates are invited to bring any textbooks, articles or codes in their library. Programmable calculators are allowed that do not have audible sounds.
Do you qualify for AWS-CWEng.?
Individual willing to apply for AWS CWEng shall possess one of the following combinations of education and experience to be eligible for the AWS-CWEng exam. You must meet up one of the conditions below in order to gain access to the examination.
Individuals with Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Engineering

Minimum 2 Years of experience
Individuals with other related Bachelor of science (B.Sc) degree
Minimum 5 Years of experience

AWS-CWEng exam consists of 4 parts i.e. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4. The Minimum marks required for clearing the exam are shown below:
