ISO 14001:2015 Certification

ISO 14001:2015 does not specify levels of environmental performance. If it specified levels of environmental performance, they would have to be specific to each business activity and this would require a specific EMS standard for each business.

The intention of ISO 14001:2015 is to provide a framework for a holistic, strategic approach to the organization's environmental policy, plans and actions.

ISO 14004:2015provides guidelines on the elements of an environmental management system and its implementation, and discusses principal issues involved.

ISO 14051:2011 provides a general framework for material flow cost accounting (MFCA). Under MFCA, the flows and stocks of materials within an organization are traced and quantified in physical units (e.g. mass, volume) and the costs associated with those material flows are also evaluated.
