Welder Training Conducted by Eurotech
- Engineers / Professional
1.1 American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – One week seminar (@ USD 600/- incl taxes) follwed by Examination with $ 1200 . Certification done by AWS (US).
1.2 American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Sales Representative (CWSR) – Three days seminar @ USD 600/- followed by examination with $ 700. Certification done by AWS (US). The following topics are covered :
a) Standard Welding Terms, Definitions and Safety in Welding,
b) Shielding Gas Application , Electrical Requirements of Welding Power Supplies
c) SMAW, GMAW , GTAW , FCAW and SAW
d) Welding Procedures & Procedure Qualification Records
e) Cutting Processes
f) Brazing and Soldering
1.3 QA/QC Welding Inspector Training - One week welding training based on ISO 3834 @ USD 600/- . Certification done by Eurotech.
1.4 NDT/DT Training – Two weeks training of UT,MT,PT, VT and bend/Tensile Test. Two weeks training in the testing processes @ USD 600/- . Certification done by Eurotech.
2. Supervisors
2.1 Supervisors/Coordinator Training: The Supervisors/Coordinator are presumed to have the basic welding knowledge in the SMAW, GMAW GTAW will be trained for three day based on the ISO 14731 : 2006 - (Welding coordination - Tasks and responsibilities). The fee of @ USD 500- will be charges. Certification done by Eurotech.
3. Welders/Operators
3.1 Composite Welding Training: The important welding training course recommend welders would be composite training for SMAW/MMAW, GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) with Argon and CO2 gases. The duration of the course would be two weeks followed by the qualification of the welders under the ISO 9606-1 and EN ISO 15614-1 standards.
The training fee is Rs USD 600 . In addition, for certification, USD 200/- plus GST 18% will be charged for testing of welding samples for issue of the certificate by Eurotech.
In addition the knowledge of the following would be provided:
a) Safety Measures and Personal Protective Equipment
b) Welding Equipment and Material Information
c) Welding Symbols, Joints, Welds, Drawings, Positions, mode of transfer and Defects
d) Weld Testing to Cover VT, PT, MT, UT, Bend/Tensile Tests
3.2 Welding Qualification Certification: Applicable to those welders who are already trained and requires Qualification Certification under the ISO 9606-1 and EN ISO 15614-1 standards. The certification fee is USD300 - plus GST 18%. would be charged for three days duration. In addition, for certification, USD150 - plus GST 18% will be charged for testing of welding samples for issue of the certificate by Eurotech.
3.3 Approval Testing Welding Operators: Applicable to those welders who are already trained and require Qualification Certification under the ISO 14732 and ISO 9606-1. The certification fee is USD300 - plus GST 18%. would be charged for three days duration. In addition, for certification, USD 150- plus GST 18% will be charged for testing of welding samples for issue of the certificate by Eurotech.
