The objectives of ISO 17025:2017 training are:

    • To evaluate measurement uncertainty and ensuring the validity of the results.
    • To explain how the result of the tests are reviewed before release by the authorized person.
    • To explain the laboratory activities for test, calibration and sampling for each report. The specific requirements for the certain test reports, calibration certificates and report of sampling would be explained.
    • To explain the reporting statements of conformity, its opinions and interpretations and changes/ amendments to the reports.
    • To explain how the complaints are received, evaluated and decisions made for the nonconformities.
    • To explain the use of the Laboratory information management system (LIMS) for control of data and information management.
  • To explain the Management system requirements
    • The laboratory shall establish, document, implement and maintain a management system that is capable of supporting and demonstrating the consistent achievement of the requirements of this document and assuring the quality of the laboratory results.
    • In addition to meeting the requirements of all the Clauses, the laboratory shall implement a management system in accordance with Option A or Option B.
